Department Overview

The Senior Presales Architect is a senior-level technical expert who plays a pivotal role in the sales process. They are the bridge between a company\'s sales team and its technical solutions, using their deep product knowledge and industry expertise to understand a client\'s business needs and design a compelling technical solution. They are not just selling a product; they\'re selling a vision and a strategy for how that product will solve a client\'s problems.

Job Description

The Senior Technical Architect will be responsible for supporting and providing technical subject matter expertise for the US Federal Motorola Solutions Account team and Federal Video Security & Access Control Specialist team which includes Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD). The Senior Technical Architect will be responsible for high value solution designs across Motorola and / or third party technologies based on customer needs and requirements.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

• Detailed requirement review and compliance matrices
• Technical proposal content
• Comprehensive equipment list (BOM)
• Customer meeting support
• Collaboration and support for partner community
• Technical Show Support
• Delivering Product Demos to end users and at trade shows
• Continuous technical training on existing and new technologies
• Engaging in innovative opportunities with strategic technology partners based on customer opportunities

Specific Knowledge / Skills :

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permitsponsorshipis not available for this position.

Target Base Salary Range : $70,000 -$80,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
