The Assisted Director of Nursing is responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing department in the coordination of care, quality of interventions and outcomes of clinical services. The role interacts with each department within the facility and requires a leader who can lead, motivate, educate and mentor licensed and certified staff. This person must be able to interact well with others and be a contributor to continuous improvement initiatives.

Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN / LPN) in Missouri.

Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care

Current CPR certification

Prefer, as a minimum, two (2) years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing home, or other related health care facility
