USCG MMC is required for this role

Rotating schedule - travel required to project sites

Scope of Duties and Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to the following :

• Safe operation and routine maintenance of the vessels power, propulsion, auxiliary, and other electro-mechanical and electronic systems in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations of the vessels flag, the international community, company policies and procedures, and the manufacturers recommendations in a manner responsible to the safety of the crew.
• Under the direct and active supervision of a licensed officer, monitoring, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance in accordance with Company procedures and in a manner responsible to the safety of the crew and the protection of the natural environment.
• Responsible care and use of the vessels consumable spares, mechanical stores and tools inventories.
• General vessel maintenance and monitoring reporting to Chief Engineer
• Create work plan and execute daily tasks in accordance with the established schedule in Vessel Management System.
• Update completed tasks with notes in Vessel Management System as completed.
• Maintain inventory of tools and critical / spare parts on board the vessel.
• Assign work to any assistant engineering staff and monitor to ensure satisfactory completion.
• Work as a deckhand as needed
