Description :

Unit information includes a total of 34 beds with a maximum capacity of 43 patients.

Staffing on day shift includes one charge nurse, eight RNs, three techs, and one unit secretary.

Night shift staffing includes one charge nurse, eight RNs, one tech, and one unit secretary.

The patient-to-nurse ratio is 5 : 1.

The unit is equipped with remote telemetry equipment and utilizes an EMR system.

Candidates should have experience working in general medical-surgical settings as well as stroke and neuro designated units.

Successful candidates are typically upbeat, engaged, and compassionate.

The dress code requires navy scrubs.

The unit has received multiple awards and recognitions, including Daisy awards and stroke certification, as well as over 850 days CAUTI-free.
