Job description
JOB DESCRIPTION Salary: $45/VisitMaxim Healthcare in Reno NV is hiring Registered Nurses for a part time, weekend position which includes visit - style care for group homes in North Reno/Sparks area. Each visit consists of of a g-tube feeding, full head to toe assessment, and medication administration - lasting approximately an hour long each. Options: Saturday - 6AM-3PM OR 5PM-10PMOptions: Sunday - 7AM-12:30PM OR 6AM-2PM OR 5PM-9PM Combination of multiple shifts may be accepted on timing availability basis. Maxim Healthcare offers health/wellness benefits AND weekly pay!Why Join Maxim:Competitive Pay & Weekly PaychecksHealth, Dental, Vision, HSA and Life InsurancePaid Time Off401(k) Savings PlanMaxcares Awards ProgramResponsibilities:Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as requiredInitiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs changeIncorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goalsIntervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisorAdministers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of interventionReviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicableRequirements:Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.Current BLS card.One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
