Overview

We have an opportunity for a Quality Engineer at our Littleton, CO facility supporting our Strategic Quality department within Space Operations. We are going to Mars and beyond! Will you join us in the journey?

Denver : This position is in one of the Coolest places to work : Denver, Colorado.

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you support the Process Certifications team as an equipment, process, and tools certifier in Denver. This will involve driving to the various buildings, to perform certifications as defined by Manufacturing Certification Procedures (MCP).
  • These certifications involve the testing of Process, tools and equipment such as ESD benches, heat guns, cleanrooms, chemical tanks. Additional tasks will also include review of specifications and certification procedures.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., math, physics, chemistry, etc.).
  • Work or classroom experience with lab equipment processing equipment / processes (resistance meters, pH meters, sampling techniques, etc.).
  • Work or classroom experience with comprehending and interpreting drawings, work instructions, schematics, and specifications.
  • This position requires special access to support the program and requires the ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance and US Citizenship.
  • Desired Skills

  • Familiar with manufacturing processes, use of hand tools and manufacturing equipment.
  • Previous work experience in an Aerospace Environment, chemical, electronics and mechanical background or related work experience in adjacent field.
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance understanding and application are important.
  • Good understanding of both chemical and electrical skills is desired.
  • Basic electrical, mechanical and test understanding.
  • Experience in Automation Framework, SAP, LIMS, and METNET.

    National Pay Statement Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $54,900 - $96,830. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Salary information is a general guideline only.     Premium Pay Statement Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $63,200 - $109,365. For states not referenced above, the salary range will reflect the final work location.
