Salt Water Disposal Operator

The position of Salt Water Disposal Operator will be responsible for maintaining records for daily reports, performance maintenance on pumps and other equipment with minimal or no supervision.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning out SWD filter baskets on the pumps and offload locations.
• Providing excellent customer service while interacting with truck drivers.
• Checking loads to ensure fluid is acceptable for disposal.
• Proactively monitoring water levels at site to ensure tanks are within their operating parameters.
• Daily inspection of equipment and facility operating functions.
• Performing necessary preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Monitoring and accounting for skim oil volumes removed from facility.
• Tracking pump pressures.
• Coordinating with trucking companies on delivery of saltwater.
• Monitoring drivers for proper procedures and the use of personal protection equipment.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment at all times.
• Ensuring compliance with HSE policies and saltwater disposal requirements.
• Reporting safety and environmental issues to management.
