About The Position

Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a Level I Trauma and Children's Teaching Hospital. This role involves high-acuity ER care with 60–80% admitted patients and frequent ED holding. Must be proficient in rapid assessment, IV medication administration, and trauma-level emergency care. Strong experience in Level II Trauma is required; Level I preferred.

Job Requirements

Experience : 2 years ER required (will review 1.5)

Trauma Requirement : Level II Trauma required; Level I Trauma strongly preferred

Travelers : First-timers accepted (travel experience preferred if not Level I)

License : NM RN (can pend)

Locals : Not accepted within 75 miles

Certs Required : ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (must have before sub), NIHSS (can pend until compliance)

COVID : Required; exemptions accepted

Floating : To Adult PCUs, ED Holding, Trauma DOE; Peds ED optional

On-Call : Not required

RTO : >

7 days requires approval
