Position Overview
Join a high-performing imaging team where accuracy compassion and clinical excellence come together. As a CT Technologist youll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging for a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center while ensuring patient safety comfort and exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities
Verify patient identity and exam details prior to scanning
Prepare and position patients including those with limited mobility (using safe-handling practices)
Explain procedures to reduce patient anxiety and ensure comfort
Insert IVs when needed for imaging studies
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver accurate diagnostic images
Document all imaging information in EPIC and ensure images are sent correctly to PACS
Maintain a clean safe and fully operational scanning environment
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
ARRT Certification (CT)
NYS Radiologic Technologist License must be obtained before start date
2 years CT experience
Level I Trauma Center experience
BLS (American Heart Association only)
Preferred Qualifications
Injection certification (or willingness to complete during orientation)
Experience with Philips or Siemens CT scanners
EPIC EMR experience (highly desired)
