Design Liaison Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the aerospace and manufacturing industry, is seeking a passionate and skilled Design Liaison Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Design Liaison Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title : Design Liaison Engineer

Location : Troy Hills, NJ

Pay Range : $56 - $60 hourly

What's the Job?

Partner with Global Supply Chain (GSC) and collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvements and resolve hardware non-conformances, ensuring top-tier quality for customers

Support hardware qualifications for new processes, process changes, and new equipment, applying knowledge of HGP design and manufacturing to enhance product functionality and reduce costs

Participate in Supply Chain Kaizens and Lean Action Workouts to promote efficiency and waste reduction

Support Design for Producibility, lean flow, and concurrent Engineering initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes

Engage proactively in quality initiatives to reduce defects and improve processes, ensuring compliance with qualification guidelines and specifications

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college

Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in engineering or manufacturing environments

Knowledge of HGP design and manufacturing processes, including NX and GD&T

Experience with lean manufacturing methods and statistical process control

Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction mindset
