The Production Manufacturing Scheduler will develop, maintain, and manage a regional integrated Manufacturing or Quality Control (QC) laboratory schedule across all crops based to ensure that regional capacities are used in an effective and efficient manner.
This position will support our Vegetable Seeds business at our Parma, ID site.
As a Supply Chain Scheduler, You Create Chemistry By...
- Building and maintaining a regional short-term Manufacturing or QC Laboratory Schedule (detail plan 6 weeks horizon) that gives transparency about capacities, lead times, priorities, and occupancy levels based on regional available work centers on short-term.
- Scheduling, aligning, and prioritizing manufacturing orders in an efficient and reliable way while maximizing efficiencies to deliver the business needs according to established priority guidelines.
- Continuously improving communication platforms with key stakeholders throughout the business, ensuring that all communication is clear and priorities are aligned.
- Continuously improving tools and processes for accurate scheduling models and supporting any necessary ERP upgrades.
- Creating and maintaining key performance indicators following industry best practices that address all scheduling interactions with stakeholders.
- Actively participating in leadership meetings, operational excellence, auditing, seedsmanship, and other programs.
If you...
- A Bachelor's degree in Logistics / Supply Chain, Business, Agronomy or a related field (preferred) or comparable experience in a related field.
- Five years of related experience.
- Experience with ERP systems, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and intermediate Access skills, and basic knowledge of planning tools and processes.
- Leadership skills and the ability to work as a cross-functional team member.
- Basic understanding of Manufacturing and Quality Control processes, preferred.
- Basic knowledge of local and global crops, preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 5% - domestic and international
