The Department of Psychology at UCI offers exciting and innovative programs of study at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Our faculty members are prominent scholars whose specialties include developmental, social, personality, health, psychology and law, biological, clinical, cultural, community, environmental, and ecological psychology.

The MLFP Program and the CPL fall under the Department of Psychology. The MLFP program is offered in collaboration between the Department of Psychology and the Department of Criminology, Law and Society, and focuses on the intersection of psychology and legal issues, with an emphasis on the use of psychological principles, theories, and research to better understand legal processes and systems. The UCI CPL is a focal point for research linking the fields of psychology and law, with the mission to bridge the gap between scientific evidence and public policy.

The Young Adult Court Study (YAC) involves research being conducted by Dr. Elizabeth Cauffman on a novel court in Orange County that was designed to address the specific needs of justice-system-young adult men through providing individualized and developmentally appropriate services in the community.

Your Role on the Team

Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of the Master in Legal and Forensic Psychology (MLFP) Program and the Center for Psychology and Law, the Administrative Coordinator provides administrative support to the MLFP program, the Center for Psychology and Law (CPL), and the Young Adult Court Study. The incumbent assists the Assistant Director with various administrative tasks and will also be involved in providing administrative support to the Young Adult Court Study. The Administrative Coordinator must be self-motivated, able to work with general supervision and have a high standard of efficiency with the ability to multitask, manage time and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

This is a 70% FTE career staff position with guaranteed funding until September 2027. Continued appointment is contingent upon receipt of additional funding.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $30.76- $34.51
