Job Overview
We are looking for a patient‑focused, innovation‑driven leader to join our team as a Vice President, Global Program Leader in Oncology, Solid Tumors. In this role you will be a vital contributor to Takeda’s mission of delivering better health and a brighter future to people worldwide.
Objectives
- Develop and execute the global program strategy for oncology assets from discovery to market.
- Own regulatory approval, launch, and global patient access for each asset.
- Partner across functions to maximize asset value and streamline delivery.
- Communicate, decide, and commit to joint decisions across the cross‑functional program team.

Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) or MBA.Minimum 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry with R&D and commercial operations experience.Minimum 10 years of global, complex project experience including strategy and execution.Strong matrix team management background.Preferred Qualifications
Advanced scientific or business degree (desired).Broad business / enterprise orientation.Experience managing multiple global approvals.Passion for developing future leaders.Travel Requirements
Willingness to travel internationally; approximately 20‑25% travel.Compensation and Benefits Summary
Base salary range : $255,800 – $401,940. U.S. employees may be eligible for short‑term and long‑term incentives, health benefits, 401(k), and other standard benefits.
