Essential Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Safety and Compliance Leader with experience in the waste and recycling or transportation / truck driving industries. This key role involves implementing and overseeing health and safety programs across solid waste collection, transfer, recycling, and disposal operations. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety and transportation regulations, reporting to the Market Area Safety Director.

Essential Job Functions :

• Program Compliance

Develop and enforce safety policies in alignment with OSHA, DOT, and local regulations.

Conduct safety meetings and training sessions.

Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety violations.

Identify hazards and proactively implement risk reduction measures.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, training, and incidents.

Commit to effective communication and continuous improvement of safety policies.

Salary Range : Minimum : USD $100,000.00 / Yr. Maximum : USD $135,000.00 / Yr.
