Job description465-bed regional referral center Locally controlled, not-for-profit Group offers comprehensive cardiac, medical, surgical, bariatric, obstetric, pediatric, rehabilitative, psychiatric, cancer, neurologic, pain care and home care services to a service area of more than 600,000 people. Thompson Healthcare Top 100 hospital for five years running, as well as a Top 100 Cardiac Hospital for three years. In addition, for three consecutive years, HealthGrades has named Medical Group among the top five percent of cardiac surgery programs in the nation. For three consecutive years, the medical center has been honored among Fortune Magazine's "100 Best Companies To Work For." Ashland, KY is a town of about 25,000 people, located right on the Ohio River. We have a nice, clean town with minimal traffic, a beautiful and very active performing arts theater, indoor tennis, a large downtown park, and boutique shopping. Our Tri-State region (Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia) is renowned for safe, family friendly communities with an excellent cost of living. We also host some of the countrys finest state parks that feature golf, skiing, boating, fishing, hunting and biking. We have four seasons all of which are relatively mild. We are also about 20 minutes from Huntington, WV, a town about twice the size of Ashland and the home of Marshall University. And, about two hours away in West Virginia, there is excellent snow skiing and the New River Gorge National Park, which offers multiple outdoor activities such as whitewater rafting, rock climbing, hiking, etc.
