Millwork Engineer Location :
This position is vital in bridging design and production, ensuring that every engineered project meets client specifications and our exacting standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and prepare accurate shop drawings and production-ready files using Microvellum (mandatory). Create, optimize, and refine CNC toolpaths using Alphacam , ensuring efficient and precise machining. Program CNC equipment, including 5-axis machining , for advanced millwork and furniture components. Partner with production, project management, and design teams to translate concepts into manufacturable solutions. Manage and update ERP systems (Global Shop preferred) to support job costing, scheduling, and material tracking. Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting on the shop floor when challenges arise. Uphold quality, safety, and consistency across all engineered outputs. Contribute to process improvements that enhance workflow, accuracy, and efficiency. Qualifications Mandatory Microvellum experience. Experience with Alphacam software. Experience with Biesse Machines CNC programming experience; 5-axis programming strongly preferred. Background in wood furniture manufacturing or custom millwork. Familiarity with ERP systems (Global Shop experience a strong plus). Strong attention to detail, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
