IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR A FULL-TIME OPTOMETRIST IN CAPE CORAL, FLORIDA

We are seeking a medical Optometrist for a thriving eye surgery center in Cape Coral, Florida. The Center is one of the state’s most progressive, high-quality, multi-specialty practices, using the industry’s most advanced technology and the best state-of-the-art office space. The ideal Optometrist will be responsible for examining, diagnosing, and treating parts of patient conditions affecting their visual system. Typical duties include performing vision tests, diagnosing sight problems, prescribing medications, performing pre-and post-operative, focusing on managing routine and advanced Glaucoma patients, co-management of Glaucoma surgery patients, and more.

• A current active license issued by the State Board of Optometry in Florida
• Provide routine and medical vision care up to the full scope of licensure
• Diagnose sight problems,  Prescribe eyeglasses,    Evaluate patients for the presence of diseases
• Technicians and scribes to assist doctor with work up testing and clinical documentation.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
