JOB TITLE : Avionics Installer II

LOCATION : Savannah, GA

PAY RATE : $25.65 / hour

Summary :

Assist with installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and equipment according to blueprints and engineering drawings.

Maintain required logs and records.

Complete tasks within assigned timeframes.

Ensure work meets regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

Inspect work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to final inspection.

Follow FOD, tool control, 5S, and all safety programs.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Properly maintain shop equipment and tools.

Participate in continuous improvement activities (e.g., YIAW, Kaizen events).

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED required

Two (2) years of accredited aviation electronics schooling or two (2) years related work experience, or an avionics certificate from an accredited school plus one (1) year related work experience

Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications

Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

Basic computer and software skills required

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
