Your Opportunity

We're looking for an Academic Planner to join our Houston team. Your key responsibilities include :

• Leading collaborative planning and programming sessions with direct client communication, translating teaching pedagogies into architectural form
• Developing a comprehensive understanding of clients' programmatic and functional requirements
• Communicating planning concepts to clients and project teams, both verbally and through graphic and written reports
• Collaborating with design team members to develop planning concepts in an integrated design approach
• Providing technical knowledge of academic spaces in programming, planning, design, and construction phases
• Participating in research about area of expertise
• Developing and maintaining strong and collaborative relationships with existing and potential clients
• Leveraging design talent and other intellectual content to contribute toward new project pursuits

Pay Transparency : In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

Temporary / casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
