We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role involves providing hands-on technical assistance and troubleshooting for desktop systems, ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows-based systems and a proactive approach to resolving IT issues efficiently.
Responsibilities :
- Monitor daily IT operations and respond promptly to alerts and issues.
- Create and manage support tickets, coordinating with external vendors or teams as necessary for resolution.
- Diagnose and repair desktop hardware and perform basic network troubleshooting as guided by the IT team.
- Collaborate with the Manhattan IT team to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
- Deliver onsite support and solutions for end-users within a dynamic production environment.
- Maintain and support Windows-based systems, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Conduct system imaging and configuration to meet organizational standards.
- Provide timely updates to stakeholders regarding issue resolution and system performance.
- Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting PC desktop workstations.
- Experience with Active Directory for user and system management.
- Strong knowledge of desktop hardware and related components.
- Expertise in Windows 10 installation, configuration, and support.
- Familiarity with desktop imaging processes and tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and production-oriented environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to IT support.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and with end-users.
