Associate Scientist I

A company is looking for an Associate Scientist I to join their Cell Line Development Group in South San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities

Perform CHO cell line development, including transfection, selection, and stability assessment

Design and generate DNA vector constructs for protein production

Conduct genetic characterization of cell banks using molecular techniques

Required Qualifications

BS with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience

Proficient in aseptic techniques and mammalian cell culture

Experienced in developing stably transfected CHO cell lines

Strong understanding of mammalian cell biology and molecular biology concepts

Demonstrated ability to independently design and execute experiments
