Oracle Database Administrator

Overview

The National Security Sector of Leidos is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to support our customers' mission and other interagency operations. This fully onsite role in Suitland, MD requires an active DoD TS / SCI clearance and offers the chance to work on high-impact national security systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Oracle 11GR2 databases for performance, availability, and security.
• Collaborate across IT functions (Systems, Network, SAN, DBAs) to resolve complex issues.
• Perform proactive health checks, manage logs and space usage, and troubleshoot errors.
• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Server Software and related tools.
• Support application software migration and debugging as it relates to Oracle.
• Deliver performance reports and contribute to mission continuity.
• Mission-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and across technical teams.

Basic Qualifications

Compensation

Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in offering an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, market data alignment, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
