Position Overview :

We're currently seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician Team Leader – Heat Pump Projects to join our growing Smart Heating & Cooling Division. This position focuses on the installation and commissioning of air-to-air and geothermal heat pump systems in residential and small commercial settings. The ideal candidate will lead a small installation crew, ensure high-quality workmanship, and uphold safety and compliance standards—especially regarding refrigerant handling.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage a field installation crew (typically 2–3 technicians)
• Oversee job site activities, tools, and safety compliance
• Coordinate with the project management team for scheduling and installation updates
• Perform and document system commissioning, including heat pump performance checks
• Install indoor and outdoor HVAC components, including ductwork, condensate management, refrigerant lines, and ground loop systems
• Maintain EPA compliance on all refrigerant-handling activities
• Complete QA checklists and project closeout documentation
• Maintain high standards of craftsmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction
