Position type : Full-time - Contract Duration : 12 Months Location : Newport News, VA 23607 As a Structural Engineer, you will : Coordinates and administers the corporate staffing function within the Human Development Department. Interviews prospective Team Members for exempt and non-exempt jobs up to the managerial level, refers applicants to specific job openings, administers pre-employment tests, checks references, coordinates temporary staffing function, conducts exit interviews and coordinates other related activities and compliance monitoring Roles & Responsibilities : Coordinates recruiting efforts to obtain qualified Sales and Leadership Team Members, as required, including interviewing and scheduling arrangements with the requested department management for exempt and non-exempt jobs up to the managerial level. Discusses requirements for various job vacancies with appropriate management. Interviews, screens and, where applicable, tests applicants. Refers qualified applicants to hiring supervisors for subsequent interview Prepares internal postings and / or external advertisements with hiring manager and advertising agency, as needed. Arranges for appropriate posting of job openings and schedules interviews for perspective internal candidates with requesting department management on a timely basis. Responds in an appropriate manner and on a timely basis to applications and inquiries for employment with the Company and to unsuccessful candidates for employment. Coordinates and arranges all necessary travel and lodging arrangements to ensure the effective recruitment of perspective Team Members. Proven success recruiting for sales and leadership roles in the telecommunications industry in Technology / Infrastructure roles Possesses strong headhunting skills : relationship building, networking, influencing, negotiation, proactive, & perseverance Must have skill in interviewing techniques, a basic knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices, excellent organizational, communication and computer skills and a basic understanding of the Company's organization structure as well as working knowledge of Team Member policies and procedures. Understands and can explain Sales commission structures Requirements : Full time in office (no remote / hybrid offerings) Requirements : 5-7 years of recruiting experience , a minimum of 2 years Sales & leadership recruitment, specifically for a technology or telecom service sector.
