The present company was formed in 1959 when the Magnethermic Corporation acquired the assets of Ajax Electrothermic Corp. combining their expertise and capabilities.

Job Duties

• Assess incoming products, raw materials, and services to ensure competitive pricing.
• Review stock materials and collaborate with vendors to meet purchasing goals.
• Analyze job costs when budgets are exceeded and report findings to Engineering and Purchasing Managers.
• Compare actual job costs to budgeted costs and identify cost-saving alternatives.
• Maintain and strengthen vendor and service provider relationships.
• Develop and implement proactive cost-cutting strategies.
• Maximize cost efficiency without compromising quality.
• Seek and establish relationships with new potential suppliers.
• Provide weekly cost savings reports to Engineering and Purchasing Managers.
• Conduct Business Reviews to evaluate supplier performance in service, quality, and pricing.
