About The Position

Job Title : MSP RN

Experience : Minimum 2 years in psychiatric emergency department

License : RN License required

Certifications : BLS required

Must-Have :

• Experience obtaining EKGs, bloodwork, and Point of Care Testing with Glucometer
• Solid crisis prevention management skills
• Proactive symptom assessment and management skills

Description :

The Psych Evaluation Service provides care for acutely ill patients with psychiatric and substance use disorders.

Patients are awaiting placement for stabilization at an appropriate treatment facility.

Nurses require at least one year of experience in a psychiatric emergency department.

Candidates should possess strong crisis prevention management skills along with proactive assessment and management of symptoms.
