Arctic Snow and Ice is looking for a Senior Accountant that will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for a busy manufacturer located in Bradley, IL. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of financial information local and corporate analysis.This position must have a strong knowledge of cost accounting and general accounting activities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monthly closing and reporting of site level financial statements and analysis within established time requirements to both corporate and local management.
• Journal entries, daily banking transactions, ACH, and wire transfers, posting cash payments, following up on customer receivables.
• Performs monthly reconciliation of site level bank and credit card statements and various balance sheet accounts.
• Maintaining fixed asset records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end audit activities.
• Assists in maintaining tools and policies in support of sound pricing decisions and clear understanding of profitability by customer.
• Work closely with management to identify and implement actions to improve operational and financial performance.
• Work with the sales team to ensure accurate and timely invoices and collection of outstanding balances.
• Performs ad hoc and excel analysis as needed.
