Job description

Career Start is currently seeking Material Handlers for a print shop located in Rochester, NY. To be considered for the Material Handler position candidates must have 1 year experience with handling goods and materials in a production environment.

Responsibilities of the Material Handler :

  • Keep presses supplied with ink and paper
  • Unloading and receiving of supplies
  • Operating hand jack
  • Stocking shelves with boxes after receiving
  • Keeping warehouse clean and organized
  • General upkeep and maintenance of shop

Requirements of the Material Handler :

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to stand and walk on hard surfaces for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, lift and carry up to 50lbs & good manual dexterity
  • MUST have reliable transportation
