Local Contract Nurse RN - Oncology - $35-40 per hour

Insight Global is seeking a local contract nurse RN Oncology for a local contract nursing job in Palm Coast, Florida. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Oncology Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 23 / 2025 Duration : 48 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Local Contract Must-Haves : Active RN License : Registered Nurse - Licensed in the state of Florida Epic experience (or similar) Plusses : Oncology experience Radiation experience Day-to-Day : 1. New Patient Consults Nurses conduct patient education and intake, including medication reconciliation, medical history review, and obtaining vital signs. 2. Follow-Up Appointments Care for patients previously treated in the clinic. Update patient history and records if there are any new developments or changes. 3. Treatment Visits Coordinate and administer treatments, often scheduled on the same day. For patients receiving fractionated therapy, conduct assessments once every 5 fractions. Monitor for symptoms or side effects, ensuring timely management and intervention as needed. 4. Nursing Appointments Conduct follow-up (often by phone) for patients who are not yet due for a physician appointment. Assess patient status, address concerns, and escalate care if necessary.
