Job Title : Production Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate : $18.00 per hour
Shift : 1st Shift — 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM
Job Summary :
The Production Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency. This role supports daily production operations by performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing equipment failures, and implementing solutions that promote safety, quality, and productivity.

Duties and Responsibilities :
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and plant systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on manufacturing equipment.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
Support equipment installation, setup, and modification projects.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Follow all safety standards and ensure compliance with company and OSHA regulations.
Maintain tools, parts, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner.
Install, replace, or modify machine parts and attachments per production specifications.
Required Skills and Abilities :
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, PLCs, electrical circuits, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Basic computer skills for data entry and maintenance recordkeeping.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as needed.
Education and Experience :
High school diploma or GED required.
Technical certificate or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance , Mechatronics , or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive industry experience preferred).
