SCOPE :

Camp Arnold is seeking an individual to join our team as an Assistant for the Ignite Discipleship Program. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the spiritual growth, social & emotional growth, and skill development in the young people at camp. They will partner with the Ignite Director in leading daily bible studies, individual & group check-ins, and weekly debriefs with participants. This position will also act as additional summer support for the program team in various areas of the camp program.

GENERAL DUTIES :

• Uphold Camp Arnold policies and Protecting the Mission standards.
• Assist the Ignite director in implementation of Ignite program curriculum.
• Attend program staff and general staff orientation.
• Attend and participate in all Ignite specific programming.
• Attend and participate in camp programs as required by summer program director.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Ignite Director

Parental Leave : Benefit will be one week (5 business days) of paid leave at the employee’s normal rate of pay for births, adoptions and foster placements.

Sick Leave : 12 days annually accruing from day one, eligible for use after 3 months’ service time.

Paid Vacation : 2 weeks annually accruing from day one, for non-exempt positions. 4 weeks annually accruing from day one, for exempt positions. Accrued vacation eligible for use after 6 months’ service time.

Paid Holidays : 13 designated holidays + 1 floating holiday per year
