SR ASSOCIATE – ANALYTICS ENGINEER, CLIENT INTELLIGENCE

POSITION OVERVIEW
BBR Partners is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our Client Intelligence team. This role will design and build scalable data infrastructure that powers client reporting and analytics for our Advisory business. You'll work at the intersection of data engineering and business requirements, building pipelines, APIs, and automation that deliver sophisticated client insights at scale.
Reporting to our Head of Client Intelligence, you'll collaborate closely with our Data Engineering and Software Development teams to leverage shared platform capabilities while owning the technical solutions specific to client deliverables. This is a high-impact role with direct visibility into the ways we serve our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analytics Engineering
- Design and build data pipelines using Airflow and dbt to automate client reporting processes
- Develop API wrappers and services for client-specific data access and configuration management
- Build and maintain derived datasets, metrics, and aggregations for client portfolio analytics
- Collaborate with our core Data team to consume canonical APIs and datasets from various Cloud platforms
- Implement data quality checks and validation frameworks for client-facing deliverables
- Leverage Alteryx and Airflow for evolving pipelines to become more code-centric
Solution Development
Partner with our Software Development team to build highly tailored applications to drive analyticsTranslate Advisory team requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutionsDesign allocation and mapping frameworks that allow for top-level and drill-down analysis across custom domains.Build automation that reduces manual effort in client reporting workflowsAnalytics & Insights
Develop client-facing metrics and analytics using Python and Jupyter notebooksSupport ad-hoc analysis requests from Advisory team when neededCreate reusable analytical frameworks that can be applied across client portfoliosPlatform Integration
Integrate with third-party SaaS platforms (including Seismic) to deliver client materialsEstablish patterns and best practices for maintainable, scalable client reporting solutionsDocument technical designs and architectural decisionsQUALIFICATIONS
Technical Skills
3-5+ years of experience building production data pipelines and automationStrong proficiency in Python for data engineering and analysisExperience with modern orchestration frameworks (Airflow strongly preferred)Advanced SQL skills and experience with data transformation tools (dbt strongly preferred)Familiarity consuming data via API (REST) endpointsFamiliarity with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred)Version control and software development best practices (Git, CI / CD)Preferred Qualifications
Experience integrating with or configuring enterprise SaaS platformsBackground in financial services, wealth management, or client-facing analyticsExperience with BI / visualization platforms (Power-BI, Tableau)Familiarity with Cloud infrastructureWHAT WE OFFER

Base salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple reasons, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The expected base salary for the role will generally be between $100,000 and $120,000 per year at the commencement of employment, but the final salary offered may be outside this range based on these reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, base salary is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonuses, alternative incentive packages and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department / team performance, and market factors.
