We’re partnering with a professional office that is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Call Center Specialist to support their busy front-line communication hub. WHAT YOU’LL DO : Manage incoming calls in a friendly and professional manner Direct callers to the appropriate team member or department Handle urgent and emergency calls following established procedures Retrieve and deliver voicemail and after-hours messages promptly Maintain on-call schedules and internal staff directories Document messages, contacts, and updates with accuracy Ensure phones are properly opened / closed and routed each day Assist with administrative tasks such as returned mail or updated contact info Uphold strict confidentiality while serving as a reliable first point of contact REQUIREMENTS : High school diploma or equivalent required One year of prior call center, switchboard, or high-volume customer service experience preferred Strong computer skills and ability to learn phone systems quickly Professional communication style, with excellent listening and problem-solving skills Ability to stay focused, organized, and calm under pressure Comfortable handling a high call volume and multitasking in a busy environment BENEFITS : Competitive hourly pay ($20–$25 DOE) Health, dental, and vision insurance options Paid time off and holiday pay Supportive and team-oriented workplace culture Opportunities to grow your skills and career
