Job Title : Loan Processor
Location : Plainview, NY
Job Type : Full-Time, permanent
Compensation :
Base Salary : $50-60K (commensurate with experience)
Monthly Bonus : ranging from $450 – $900 / month
Position Overview
The Loan Processor supports the Sales and Underwriting teams by ensuring accurate and compliant documentation from loan submission through funding. This role acts as a liaison between borrowers and internal departments to facilitate a smooth and timely loan process.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate with borrowers to collect required documentation and information
Verify application data against submitted documents in CNC
Ensure income and asset documentation meet compliance standards
Run AUS (DO, DU, or LP) and request third-party stipulations as needed
Order and review FHA Case Number, CAIVRS, LDP / GSA, Flood Cert, Title / Tax Cert, Survey
Obtain payoffs, payment histories, VOR / VOM, and subordinations when applicable
Recalculate income to confirm accuracy
Review appraisal and title for property description accuracy and lien clearance
Confirm real estate taxes and hazard insurance are current and sufficient
Collaborate with Post Closing to resolve funding issues
Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
Customer service orientation and reliability
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to identify and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
Adaptability to system updates and process changes
Pay Details : $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
