About the Role :

We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Security Officer to join our team at a premier high-rise building in Houston. The Security Officer will be responsible for protecting tenants, visitors, and property by maintaining a constant and visible presence throughout the site. This position requires remaining on foot for the entire shift with no sitting permitted, making attentiveness, endurance, and professionalism essential.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain security and order within the building by monitoring entrances, lobbies, stairwells, elevators, and other assigned areas.
• Conduct frequent foot patrols of both interior and exterior areas to detect unauthorized activity, hazards, or safety concerns.
• Remain on post in a standing position for the full 8-hour shift with no sitting.
• Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, alarms, or emergency situations following established procedures.
• Provide courteous assistance to tenants, guests, and contractors while upholding professional standards of customer service.
• Enforce building policies, access requirements, and safety regulations consistently and fairly.
• Prepare detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors, building management, and law enforcement when necessary.
