What You'll Do : Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, while responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, using good judgment to address issues as they arise. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents, maintaining clear and accurate documentation as required by Allied Universal policies. Interact professionally with patients, staff, and visitors, assisting with directions or requests and providing a visible Allied Universal presence. Support access control procedures, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas. Remain alert to environmental hazards or potential situations that may require a security-related response, notifying appropriate personnel as needed. Minimum Requirements : A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
