ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Abilene, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 15 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Opportunity : RN - NICU Job Details :

Self-scheduling position with flexibility required for floating to other campus or floors
Must complete 5 weekend days during a 6-week schedule
Float required to Mother Baby unit or North Campus as needed
Care for neonatal patients, primarily neonates >

34 weeks (NICU II level)

2 years of experience required, 3 years preferred

First-time travelers accepted

Must live more than 150 miles from facility

Required certifications : BLS, NRP, STABLE

Altera charting system experience preferred but not required

Travel experience preferred

Complete 6-8 hours of non-billable modules during orientation

Skills include administration of blood products, APGAR scoring, developmental care, high flow nasal cannula, respiratory support, IV therapy, phlebotomy, and umbilical catheter care

Assist with high-risk deliveries and manage conditions such as neonatal abstinence syndrome and respiratory distress syndrome

Patient / family teaching and thermoregulation management

Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
