Material Prep prepares the components for the layup line to build.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reads / interprets schedules, pulls accurate materials / door skins, knowledge of material locations.
• Read tickets / schedules to determine correct materials, counts / stacks skins onto cull board in correct orientation and in order of the schedule
• Adds the correct amount of cull boards, reject bad cull boards, inspect and record reject skins, inspect and return skins to correct location
• Records schedule # line # stack # date and initials on each stack of skins, flip over the top skin on skin stacks to be restocked.
• Highlight / identify special cut skins on printed schedule, measure and set-up skins to cut to width and length based on chart specifications, must know all skin SKU's, be able to hold and cut up to 10+ skins at a time,
• Uses tape measure use to 32th of an inch, validates accuracy of skins before / after cuts, complete quality inspection and preflipping skins in proper orientation, correct count, and in order of the schedule.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership team.
