Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Akron, Ohio 44302 Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Healthcare Setting : Level III NICU Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 3x12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Pay : $2160 - $2210 Openings : 2 NICU RN positions available Float Requirement : Willingness to float to Summa location and other qualified healthcare units as needed NICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent NICU RN experience in a U.S. hospital or healthcare setting Active Ohio or Compact Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required STABLE certification preferred EPIC charting experience preferred but not required Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Prior travel nursing experience required Ability to float to competent units and multiple healthcare locations as needed NICU RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill neonates in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Monitor, assess, and document patient status and clinical progress using electronic health records (EHR) Administer medications, treatments, and specialized neonatal procedures as ordered Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Educate and support families throughout the NICU stay Float to other qualified units or healthcare locations as needed to support patient care Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team as a NICU Registered Nurse in Akron, Ohio.
