As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and driven Chemical Production Engineer - Energetics to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day operation of energetic chemical manufacturing processes
• work directly with operators to ensure that energetic materials are made safely and according to key process and product characteristics
• monitors systems in the chemical manufacturing process for compliance with environmental regulations
• Provides onsite direct technical support to operators regarding the key characteristics
• work closely with operators to seek comments on the efficiency of operations for process unit operation
• troubleshoots processes in a production facility to keep a process running efficiently
• conducts safety analyses of new and existing equipment
• assists in equipment testing, operator training, and plant start-up, shutdown, and maintenance activities
• assists as unit operations subject matter expert during emergency and abnormal operations
• assists with design work for capital improvement projects.
