Job descriptionOwn and operate the company’s Azure cloud production environment end-to-end Design and implement infrastructure with a focus on scalability, performance, and security Serve as the primary decision-maker for production infrastructure—this is a standalone role requiring independent thinking Collaborate with development teams to support CI / CD workflows and ensure operational stability Build and manage automated deployment pipelines and infrastructure configurations Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues Maintain high standards for documentation, change management, and operational procedures Play a critical role in shaping the future of cloud operations as the team grows Work closely with leadership in a non-micromanaged, self-sufficient environment Participate in a supportive, high-performing team culture with a strong bonus program and generous benefits
Company – Our client is a fast-growing fintech company that builds modern, cloud-native software solutions for financial institutions. Known for their innovative approach to credit risk management and digital transformation, they are based just outside Philadelphia and have built a reputation for combining cutting-edge technology with a mission-driven culture.
Job Title – Senior Cloud Operations Engineer
Location – Hybrid in Malvern, PA (Philadelphia suburb); 2 days per week in office. Candidates should ideally live within a 45-minute commute.
Role Type – Direct Hire
Must Have Skills :
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (including App Services, Function Apps, and Entra)
- Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates)
- Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly analytical mindset with thoughtful, strategic decision-making skills
