WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a surgical technologist for an ongoing assignment at Prestigious Hospital in NYC.

Job Function :

Day Shift.

5x8 : 3pm-11 : 30pm.

Maintain proper sterile field during surgical procedures.

Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation and document according to policy.

Prepare patients for surgery as requested.

Provide technical assistance to surgeons, OR nurses, or anesthesiologists as needed.

Wash and sterilize equipment using proper sterilization techniques.

Operate, adjust, and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation.

Job Requirements :

2 years of CST RN experience is required.

BLS, certifications from the American Heart Association are required.

EPIC experience preferred.
