You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
Qualifications for this position include a current Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification, state licensure, and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently are essential.
A typical day involves preparing patients for imaging procedures, conducting scans, and analyzing the results. You will also ensure that all safety protocols are followed and provide compassionate care to patients throughout their visit.
