Join our dynamic team in Glendale, CA, a vibrant city known for its diverse culture and thriving business environment. This contract position offers competitive pay and the opportunity to work on exciting projects in a manufacturing setting for the production of proprietary show items.
Under general supervision, you will perform all duties related to project controls planning and scheduling, with responsibilities including :
Planning / Scheduling
Business Acumen
We are looking for candidates with courses of study in engineering, architecture, production, planning, or construction, or equivalent working experience in these fields. Knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, earned value, change management, or cost control and estimating is essential.
Risk
The ability to identify significant risks, assess impacts, and develop mitigation plans is crucial for success in this role.
Communication / Influence
Frequent communication, reporting, and interactions with project and studio team members, including vendors and outside consultants, are required. You will facilitate meetings and presentations to develop Project Controls deliverables that are thoroughly vetted and supported by the team.
Education
A 4-year undergraduate degree, preferably in a technical field such as engineering, architecture, construction management, or equivalent work experience in planning, is required.
