Diesel Mechanic Helper

Staffmark is seeking a motivated Diesel Mechanic Helper to join our client's team in Monroe, LA. In this hands-on role, you will support experienced diesel mechanics in maintaining and repairing heavy-duty trucks and equipment. This is a great opportunity to build your skills and grow your career in diesel mechanics.

Pay : $15.00 / hour

Shift : 6 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday

Responsibilities :

• Assist diesel mechanics with routine maintenance and repairs
• Help lift and move parts and equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Support in cleaning, inspecting, and preparing tools and work areas
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
• Perform basic mechanical tasks under supervision, including changing oil, checking fluid levels, and replacing filters
• Communicate effectively with the team and report any issues or concerns
