Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position with day shifts and every other weekend requirement.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
  • Average of 120 births year to date, with volume increasing
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 2
  • Primary schedule is 3x12 hour day shifts, 7 : 00 am to 7 : 00 pm
  • Weekend shifts are required every other weekend
  • No call is required for this assignment
  • Floating to postpartum unit required as needed
  • EMR system is Med Host
  • Block scheduling may be discussed during the interview
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Must be prepared to float within the hospital as needed
  • Holiday coverage may be required based on schedule
  • RTO (requested time off) should be discussed during the submission process

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active AR or compact RN license must be in hand prior to start
  • Minimum of 1 year of current Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
  • BLS and PALS certifications required
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Licensure must be free of any active disciplinary action
