Job Title : CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our Milling department. This role involves working on our 2nd shift team with a 4-day work week, Monday through Thursday, and offers a $3 / hour shift premium.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and machining centers.
• Program and run CNC Mill Machining Centers.
• Perform tool changes, make edits, and offsets.
• Read and interpret blueprints with expert-level knowledge of G-Code.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Utilize live tooling effectively.

Work Environment

Work in a job shop environment with approximately 50 employees. The primary equipment includes Mori Seiki machines for turning and milling. The 1st shift runs from 5 am to 3 : 30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays. The company serves various industries, including medical devices, surgical instruments, diesel, automotive, and agricultural sectors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 / hr.
