Joliet is a city in Will and Kendall counties in Illinois, located 40 miles southwest of Chicago. The city is well known for being family friendly, offering affordable housing. Position Summary :

The appointee will participate in all clinical aspects of nephrology including outpatient dialysis, home dialysis therapies, outpatient continuity clinics and inpatient nephrology. There are teaching opportunities available, with multiple physicians in the region holding faculty positions at Northwestern Hospital. The practice has a sizable transplant population and works closely with local transplant centers.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctorate or equivalent
• Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Nephrology
• Strong clinical acumen
