  • Regular presence on campus, in the lab, and during office hours.
Preferred Qualifications and Expectations:
  • An earned doctorate in Exercise and Sport Science or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Teaching experience (classroom and online) at the university level in one or more of the following areas: introduction to exercise science, biomechanics, motor behavior, exercise physiology, applied kinesiology, and anatomy.
  • Theoretical and applied knowledge in the field of Exercise and Sport Science.
  • The ability to provide academic and career advising to students.
  • Passion for undergraduate education of traditional and post-traditional adult students at all levels of proficiency, demonstrating knowledge of effective and innovative teaching methods.
  • Commitment to professional development, scholarship, professional service, and maintenance of professional credentials.
  • The ability to make connections across disciplines and in the community on behalf of students and the university, including the development of internships beneficial to the student experience.
  • Knowledge of program assessment, curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation.
