Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in a teaching hospital, requiring ARRT-R, BLS, and Siemens MRI experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is at an adult acute care and outpatient setting in a teaching hospital with Level 4 trauma
  • Work in the MRI department handling adult acute care, outpatient, and ER / trauma cases
  • Uses Siemens MRI equipment
  • Evening shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 1 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM
  • No weekend or on-call requirement, but on-call available if interested
  • Epic (Excellian) charting is used and familiarity with this EMR is required
  • Travelers may float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed
  • Locals are accepted for this radiology position
  • Candidates who have worked as perm staff must have a 3-month gap since their last shift
  • Pre-start online modules are required and must be completed before the start date
  • Assigned scrub color is dark gray
  • Free parking is available in any unrestricted space
  • RTO is ideally limited to no more than 5 days
  • Candidates must agree to fingerprinting and background check requirements as part of Minnesota state law

  • Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience in acute care, outpatient, and ER / trauma settings
  • Active ARRT-R and BLS certifications required
  • State license required if applicable; pending license accepted
  • Experience operating Siemens MRI scanners required
  • 1 supervisor reference required for consideration
  • Must be familiar with Epic (Excellian) EMR
